Lee-Anne Nokukhanya Davids, learned the art of traditional craft beading through her journey of ukuThwasa (2009-2012). She answered her calling to become a South African Shaman;known as Iqira, or Sangoma; and trained near Lusikisiki, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
The creator is responsible for both the design and execution from concept to final product.
In completing specific rights of passage, part of the journey was to learn the art of beading to create the adornment as dreamed as an initiate to honor the messages of her ancestors.
